The authors have set out to cover in detail the provisions of Chapter 25 of the Civil Code of the Russian Federation on liability for breach of obligation. The authors set themselves the task to highlight the maximum number of complex and ambiguous issues of interpretation and application of the provisions enshrined in these articles, to reflect, if possible, all the accumulated judicial practice of application of these articles by the highest courts and, in some cases, to propose optimal ways of solving the identified problems and conflicts.
